SYSTEM SETTINGS - NETWORK CATEGORY
You will now see the IP settings screen. You can now continue to enter the other manual network
conguration values to complete manual network
conguration. Select the ‘Apply’ option to close the screen
and save settings.
Scroll down and select ‘Apply’ to save the new settings •
leave this menu.
To enable Dynamic (DHCP) IP setting:
If you want to change to Dynamic (DHCP) IP setting (the
factory setting) -
Select the Network category of the Settings Menu.•
The Network status screen appears.
Select the ‘Wired’ option on this screen.•
Conguring manual IP settings:
Do not attempt to change any of these settings
unless you have experience with Home Network
conguration. If you are in any doubt, consult an
IT professional.
Before attempting to enter manual network settings,.
you will need to know the following -
A free IP address on your network.•
A valid Subnet Mask number for your network.•
The IP address of your network gateway.•
Primary and secondary DNS settings for your •
network.
If you have the above data -
Select the ‘Network’ category of the Settings Menu.•
The Network status screen appears.
Press the • P button.
Link status
To enable manual IP setting -
Select the IP mode option.•
You can now choose an IP
mode.
Select the ‘Manual’ option •
on the IP mode menu.
The lines required for •
manual IP entry can now
be selected for editing.
Scroll to each line in turn •
that you want to change.
Press the • ENTER button to
open a dialogue box for
number entry.
You can now enter each setting
with the number buttons or
scroll between boxes with the
O or P button.
When you have nished •
entering the setting, scroll
down to select OK.
You will return to the IP settings
screen.
Example of entering
an IP address
Press the • P button.
Select the ‘Wired’ option •
on this screen.
Select the IP mode option.•
Select the ‘Dynamic’ option •
on the IP mode menu.
Scroll down and select •
‘Apply’ to save this setting
and leave this menu.
Dynamic (DHCP) IP setting will
be applied.
You will now see the IP settings screen.
