TheAGCcanbeenabledforeachchannelusingtheEnableAGCbutton.Targetgain,Attacktimein
milliseconds,Decaytimeinmilliseconds,andtheMaximumPGAGainAllowedcanallbeset,
respectively,usingthefourcorrespondingknobsineachchannel.
TheTLV320AIC3007allowsfortheAttackandDecaytimesoftheAGCtobesetupintwodifferent
modes,standardandadvanced.TheLeft/RightAGCSettingsbuttondeterminesthemodeselection.
TheStandardmodeprovidesseveralpresettimesthatcanbeselectedbyadjustmentsmadetothe
AttackandDecayknobs.Iffinercontroloverthetimesisrequired,thentheAdvancedmodeisselectedto
changetothesettings.WhentheAdvancedmodeisenabled,twotabsappearthatallowseparate,
advancedcontroloftheAttackandDelaytimesoftheAGC(seeFigure12andFigure13).Theseoptions
allowselectionofthebasetimeaswellasamultipliertoachievetheactualtimesshowninthe
correspondingtextbox.TheUseadvancedsettings?buttonmustbeenabledtoprogramtheregisters
withthecorrectvaluesselectedviathepulldownoptionsforbasetimeandmultiplier.
