Thistabcontainsfourhorizontalgroupingsofcontrols,oneforeachofthehighpoweroutputs.Each
outputhasamixertomixtheLINE2L,LINE2R,PGA_L,PGA_R,DAC_LandDAC_Rsignals,assuming
thattheDACsarenotrouteddirectlytothehighpoweroutputs(seeSection4.10).
AttheleftofeachoutputstripisaPoweredUpbuttonthatcontrolswhetherthecorrespondingoutputis
poweredupornot.TheWhenpowereddownbuttonallows3-stateoutputsordrivenweaklytoathe
outputcommon-modevoltage.
TheHPxCOMoutputs(HPLCOMandHPRCOM)canbeusedasindependentoutputchannelsorcanbe
usedascomplementarysignalstotheHPLOUTandHPROUToutputs.Inthesecomplementary
configurations,theHPxCOMoutputscanbeselectedasDifferentialofHPxOUTsignalstothe
correspondingoutputsorcanbesettobeacommon-modevoltage(ConstantVCMOut.Whenusedin
theseconfigurations,thePoweredUpbuttonfortheHPxCOMoutputisdisabled,asthepowermodefor
thatoutputtracksthepowerstatusoftheHPLorHPRoutputthattheCOMoutputistracking.
TheHPRCOMConfigselectorallowsacoupleadditionaloptionscomparedtotheHPLCOMConfig
selector.DifferentialofHPLCOMallowstheHPRCOMtobethecomplementarysignalofHPLCOMfor
drivingadifferentialloadbetweentheHPxCOMoutputs.TheselectoralsoallowsExt.
Feedback/HPLCOMconstantVCMasanoption.Thisoptionisusedwhenthehighpoweroutputsare
configuredforCaplessoutputdrive,whereHPLCOMisconfiguredasConstantVCMOut.Thefeedback
optionprovidesfeedbacktotheoutputandlowerstheoutputimpedanceofHPLCOM.
Attherightsideoftheoutputstripisamastervolumeknobforthatoutput,whichallowstheoutput
amplifiergaintobemutedorsetfrom0to9dBin1-dBsteps.
TheintegratedClass-Dspeakeramplifiercandriveonewattintoan8-Ωload.TheinputtotheClass-D
amplifieristhesamesignalavailableattheleftlineoutLEFT_LOPpin.TheClass-Damplifiermustbe
enabledfirstandthenthegaincontrol(0dBto+18dB)canbeused.Notethatmanyothergainsare
availableinthesignalpathleadinguptotheClass-Damplifier.
