CASSETTE OPERATION
LOADINGAND UNLOADINGCASSETTES
To ensure firm locking of cassette holder/
tape covers, please press the cassette
door(s) atthe center point(or the maximum
right position)until a‘click’soundis heard.
Note:

Follow thesestepsto loadand unloadcassettes:
1. PressSTOP/EJECTbutton (10).
2. Insert cassette with desired side facing you,
tapesurface down.Avoid touchingtape.
3. Closecassette holder/tape cover.
To unload, press STOP/EJECT button
(10), removecassette andclose cover.
1. Turnon POWER(7).
2. SetFUNCTION SELECTswitch(4) toTAPE.
3. Loadcassette intothe cassettecompartment.
4. DepressPLAYbutton (5).
5. Adjust MASTER VOLUME (1), and BALANCE
(3) controlsto yourpleasure.
6. To stop the tape, press STOP/EJECT button
(10) onthat Deck once.(Asecond pressingwill
eject the tape.) Or, when a tape reaches its
end, that deck will automatically stop and its
PLAYbutton (5)will bereleased.
When either or both microphones are plugged
into the Microphone Jacks (9), their output is
mixed with the playback from cassette tapes.
Adjust Mic Volume (6) for best balance between
playback andmicrophone levels.
Adjust ECHO (8) to add depth and richness to
vocals, and PITCH (2) to control the speed of
cassette playback.
1. Followinstructions forPLAYBACK.
2. Follow instructions for MICROPHONES/
ECHO/PITCH.
3. Adjust MASTER VOLUME (1), ECHO (8) and
PITCH (2) Controls. Your voice will be
combined with the playback output and will be
heard throughthe loudspeaker.
4. With Singing Machine or similar multiplex
cassettes, you can sing duets along with the
recorded artist and background music. Or by
turning the BALANCE Control (3), you can
eliminate the vocal track and do a solo
performance withthe backgroundmusic.
