Your remote control enables you to control both the
video recorder and the TV set. First choose the VCR
key for the video recorder or the TV key for the
television. Follow the instructions given below to
program the remote control for the television set.

Remember to press the VCR key before trying to use the video recorder with the remote control.
Programming the remote control with the TV code.

Your remote control may be used to control some functions on the majority of TV sets. To this end,
use one of the codes listed in the following table or on page 23 to program your remote control.
1 Press the TV (2) key on the remote control.
2 Hold down the MENU (15) key and enter the three digit code which corresponds with your TV make.
3 Release the MENU (15) key and try to control the TV set.

Should the code that you have entered not control the set, try another code proposed for this make.
When you replace batteries in the remote control, you should re-enter the three digit code for the TV
set.
