Configuring the ANT 1 input source
Highlight your ANT 1 input source—antenna or Cable—
and press ENTER.

Programming channels into the channel memory
Press ENTER to start automatically programming all active
channels (for the current input source) into the TV’s
channel memory. This will enable you to use the
CH yz buttons on the remote control or TV front panel
to change channels.

Selecting the picture mode
Highlight the picture mode you prefer, and then press
ENTER.

Adjusting the color convergence
Press the TOUCH FOCUS button on the TV front panel
to start automatic color convergence
• For details on adjusting the color convergence, see page 50.

Please push the TOUCH FOCUS button on the front
panel. The TV will automatically adjust the
convergence of the three picture tubes. It is best to
repeat this process whenever the picture appears
unclear.

Completing the Quick Connect Guide assisted setup
Important final setup steps
When you have completed the Quick Connect Guide setup process, follow these
steps so your TV can receive TV Guide On Screen program data as quickly as
possible (otherwise, it may take up to 24 hours for the TV to receive program data).
1. Turn OFF your TV overnight.
2. If you have a Cable box connected, leave it ON.
3. If you have a VCR connected, turn it OFF.
4. If you have more than one Cable system in your area, you may be
prompted to select which Cable system’s program data to download.
If so prompted, follow the on-screen instructions.
