6 Rating Level
Some DVDs are encoded with restriction of playback for
scenes unsuitable for children. The level of restriction (rating
level) differs depending on the contents of discs. On this item,
you can set the rating level to the desired level. When you play
back a DVD encoded with the rating level, only the picture
which conforms to the level set on this item is played back.
The level you set on this item is locked and unchangeable
without entering the password you designate. This is for
preventing the level from being changed by someone other
than you.
1 When the SET UP group “DVD Settings” is selected,
press or to select “6 Rating Level”, and then
press SELECT.
2 Enter a 4-digit number as the password by using the
numeric button(s), and then press SELECT.
(Example: “4343”)
Note
Do not forget your password.
In the future, if you want to change the rating level, you
must enter the password correctly in this step, otherwise
you cannot go on to the next step.
* In this case, the password you enter is shown as “
****
”.
