TV TYPE refers to the video standard used,
and this setting must be the same for both
your player and TV. The default setting for
the player is NTSC.
Only select MULTI if you know that your TV
is a multi-video system. Otherwise choose
either NTSC or PAL depending on your
country’s standards.

The player supports four types of video
connections to your TV – analog VIDEO,
S-VIDEO, YPbPr for Progressive Scan TV,
and RGB (red-green-blue). The setting
you choose depends on the capabilities of
your TV.
The DXP-1000 comes with cabling for a
standard analog VIDEO connection.
LANGUAGE SELECTION
The LANGUAGE SELECTION menus on the PREFERENCE PAGE allow you to take advantage of certain
language options that may be available as a feature on your DVD. Some DVDs have multi-language capability
which you can access through these screens. Alternate languages provided on the DVD, can either be listened
to, or read as subtitles on the screen without changing the audio.
