Also embedded in many DVDs is the capability of changing to a different language on the DVD Menu. You can
access this capability by choosing the language of your choice from the DISC MENU selection on the
PREFERENCE PAGE.

PARENTAL CONTROL
The Parental Control feature allows you to limit
unsupervised viewing of DVD movies on the
player. You do this by selecting the highest rating to
be viewed without having to enter a password.
For example, if you select PG-13, movies rated
PG-13, PG, and G can be viewed without having
to enter a password.

Select an appropriate movie rating. The disc
cannot be played if it is rated higher than the
rating set.
Go to the PASSWORD VERIFY PAGE to input
your password after selection of Parental rating.
NOTE: Different countries may use a different age range and standards in their rating
systems. Ensure that you have selected the correct locale (see previous page) for the
country you are in.
PASSWORD SETTING
The password used to access changes to the Parental Control can be changed by clicking on
PASSWORD and selecting CHANGE. The DXP-1000 comes with a default password of 3308.
You may enter any combination of four numbers to create a new password.
