Use the 5 and cursor buttons on the remote control
unit to select the DivX file you want to start the DivX
movies, then press the PLAY button or ENTER button on
the remote control unit.
• Playback starts.
The display can be switched between the single
elapsed time and the single remaining time by pressing
the DISPLAY button.
To change the DivX file
Press the STOP button, then use the 5 and cursor
buttons to reselect the desired DivX file.
To return to the initial disc information screen
Press the STOP button, use the 5 cursor button to
select “
Up..” at the upper left of the screen, then
press the ENTER button.
The screen in step 1 reappears.

NOTES:
• DN-V210/DN-V310 are compatible with files recorded in the DivX format. However, DN-V210/DN-V310 are not
guaranteed to playback all videos recorded in DivX format.
It may not be possible to play some CD-Rs/RWs discs due to disc properties, dirt, warping, etc.
When writing DivX files on CD-R/RW discs, set the writing program to store the files in the “ISO9660 level 1, level 2 or
Joliet” format. The physical format of the CD to Mode1, Mode2, or XA Form1.
With the DN-V210/DN-V310 it is possible to display folder names and file names on the screen like titles. The DN-V210/
DN-V310 can display up to 15 characters, consisting of numbers, capital letters, and the “_” (underscore) mark.
Total number of folders is less than 999, and the total number of files is less than 727.
• Be sure to give DivX files the extensions “AVI” and “DivX” files. Files with then extensions on with no extensions
cannot be viewd on the DN-V210/DN-V310.
• Do not apply stickers, tape, etc., to either the label side or the signal side of CD-R/RW discs. If adhesive gets on the
surface of a disc, the disc may get stuck inside the DN-V210/DN-V310 and be impossible to eject.
• Some DivX files protected by copyright require the DVD video player registration code to be played back. To find the
registration code, select DivX in the setup menu. (See page 37.)
