4 Press or to highlight Date/Time, then press ENTER. The
Date/Time submenu opens.
5 Press or to select Time Zone, then press or to change
the setting to the one for your area.
6 If daylight savings time is used in your area, press or to
select Daylight Savings, then press or to change the
setting to On.
7 Press or to select Mode, then press or to change the
setting to Custom.
8 Press or to select the Year, Month, Day, and Time fields,
then press ENTER.
9 Press or to change the setting of each field.
10 Press MENU to close the on-screen menu.
Setting the sleep timer
Use the Sleep Timer submenu to specify the length of time before the
TV/DVD combo automatically turns off.
To set the sleep timer with the remote control:
• Press the SLEEP button until the setting you want is displayed.
To set the sleep timer with the on-screen menus:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the Picture menu
displayed.
2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The Settings
menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Time, then press ENTER. The Time
submenu opens.
4 Press or to highlight Sleep Timer, then press or to
select the setting you want.
Note: To turn off the Sleep Timer, select Off.
5 Press MENU to close the on-screen menu.

transparency
To select the on-screen menu language and transparency:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the Picture menu
displayed.
2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The Settings
menu opens.
