Turning the DVD player on and off
To turn the DVD player on:
1 Press the power button on the DVD player. The DVD player enters Standby
mode. Each subsequent press of the power button on the DVD player
switches the DVD player between Standby mode and off.
2 Press the power button on the remote control. The DVD player turns
on. Each subsequent press of the power button on the remote control
switches the DVD player between Standby mode and on.
To turn the DVD player off:
■ Press the power button on the DVD player. The DVD player turns off.
Playing a disc
To play a disc:
1 Turn on the DVD player by following the instructions in “Turning the DVD
player on and off” on page 31.
2 Press on the DVD player or remote control. The DVD tray opens.
3 Place the CD or DVD in the tray with the label up.
4 Press on the DVD player or remote control. The DVD tray closes.
