Using MP3 discs
This DVD player can play back MP3 files on a CD-R disc, CD-RW disc, or a
commercial CD.
■ Some discs may not play in this player because of the disc characteristics
or recording condition.
■ Only the first eleven characters of folder and file names are displayed.
■ Only the characters A-Z, 0-9, and - are displayed.
■ The order shown in the menu may not be the same as the order shown
on a PC.
Recording an MP3 disc using a CD-R/CD-RW
disc
We recommend you record MP3 files in 44.1 kHz sampling frequency/128 kbps
bit rate.
Copying discs
■ Check the copyright laws in your country regarding recording from
DVD video, CD, and MP3 discs. Recording of copyrighted material may
infringe copyright laws.
■ DVD video is protected by the copyguard system.
■ When you connect the DVD player to your VCR directly, the copyguard
system activates and the picture may not be played back correctly.
