Connecting a composite video device
To connect a composite video device:
1 Make sure that your TV/Blu-ray combo’s power
cord is unplugged and the composite video is
turned off.
2 Connect an AV cable to the AV INPUT VIDEO
and AV INPUT AUDIO L and R jacks on the back
of your TV/Blu-ray combo and the VIDEO and
AUDIO OUT jacks on the composite video
device.
3 Turn on your TV/Blu-ray combo, then turn on
the composite video device.
4 Press INPUT to open the source list, press
INPUT repeatedly or press or to highlight
AV, then press ENTER.
Connecting a camcorder or game console
To connect a camcorder or game console:
1 Make sure that your TV/Blu-ray combo’s power
cord is unplugged and the camcorder or game
console is turned off.
2 Connect the video connector on a composite
video cable to the AV INPUT VIDEO jack on the
back of your TV/Blu-ray combo and the VIDEO
OUT jack on the camcorder or game console.
3 Connect the left and right audio connectors on
the composite cable to the AV INPUT AUDIO
L/R audio jacks on the back of your TV/Blu-ray
combo and to the AUDIO OUT jacks on the
camcorder or game console.
4 Turn on your TV/Blu-ray combo, then turn on
the camcorder or game console.
5 Press INPUT to open the source list, press
INPUT repeatedly or press or to highlight
AV, then press ENTER.
Note
The AV INPUT S-VIDEO jack and the AV INPUT
VIDEO jack share the AV INPUT AUDIO L and R jacks.
If you have devices connected to both video jacks,
the S-VIDEO jack controls the audio jacks.
Back of TV/Blu-ray combo
Composite video device
Cables are often
color-coded to match
color-coded jacks. Connect
yellow to yellow, red to
red, and white to white.
Note
The AV INPUT S-VIDEO jack and the AV INPUT
VIDEO jack share the AV INPUT AUDIO L and R jacks.
If you have devices connected to both video jacks,
the S-VIDEO jack controls the audio jacks.

Camcorder or game console
Cables are often color-coded to
