Understanding the wireless network list
When you select Network List in the wireless
network setup, a menu appears with a list of the
available wireless networks.
Connecting to an unencrypted wireless
network
To connect to an unencryped wireless network:
1 Press ENTER. The Settings menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight Network, then press
ENTER. The Network menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Wireless, then press
ENTER. The list of wireless options opens.
Connected
When your TV/Blu-ray combo is turned on, it
will connect to the wireless network
displaying this symbol. Typically, this is the
last wireless network connected before
powering down.

Indicates that the TV/Blu-ray combo is
currently connected to this network.
Saved
The wireless network properties (if any) have
been saved in your TV/Blu-ray combo’s
memory.
Wireless security
The wireless network data is not encrypted.
The wireless network data is encrypted. A
“security key” must be entered so your
TV/Blu-ray combo can share data over the
network.
The wireless network data is encrypted. The
encryption scheme is not supported by the
TV/Blu-ray combo.
Wireless protocol
The wireless network supports 802.11b.
The wireless network supports 802.11g.
The wireless network supports 802.11n
(draft; not all 802.11n routers may be
compatible with your TV/Blu-ray combo).
