To setup Parental Controls to block a specific
channel:
1 Turn on your TV.
2 Press the MENU button on the remote
control. The initial on-screen menu opens.
3 Press the or buttons to select SETUP,
then press OK. The
SETUP
menu opens.
4 Press the or buttons to select Parental,
then press OK. The
Password
box opens.
5 Enter your new 4-digit password, then press
OK. The
Parental
menu opens.
6 Press the or buttons to select Channel
Block, then press OK. The
Channel Block
menu opens.
7 Press the or buttons to select the
channel you want to block, then press OK. A
lock appears in the box adjacent to the
channel when it is blocked. Repeat for any
additional channels you want to block.
8 Press EXIT to exit the on-screen menu.
Rating Description
TV-Y All children.
TV-Y7 Children over seven years of age.
TV-G General audiences.
TV-PG Parental guidance suggested.
TV-14 Parents strongly cautioned.
TV-MA Mature audiences only.
Rating Description
G General audiences.
PG Parental guidance suggested. Some
material may not be suitable for
children.
PG-13 Parental guidance strongly suggested.
Some material may not be suitable for
children under 13 years of age.
R Restricted. Not suitable for children
under 17 years of age unless
accompanied by a parent or guardian.
NC-17 Not suitable for children under 17
years of age.
X Adults only.
