DVD and Video Recorder Connection
Please refer to the connection-scheme at the end of this manual and
to the manual of your video recorder in order to find out how to con-
nect your video recorder to your receiver.
Recording
For a VCR recording, either the satellite receiver has to be switched
on or the timers have to be programmed (see paragraph 'timer set-
tings')
Replay
For VCR replay, the satellite receiver has to be switched to stand-by
so that the signal path can be connected through the VCR/AUX/Scart
socket to the TV Scart socket.
You have to set the Scart socket of the satellite receiver to 'AUX' by
pressing
so that the TV set can automatically reproduce the pic-
tures of the video recorder.
In this setting, the picture of the video recorder is connected through
to the TV set on replay.
If you have set 'SAT' with
, the satellite receiver is preferential.
If 'TV' is set, the video signal of the TV set is preferential.
