÷ The type of characters (capital letters or numbers/
symbols) is switched each time the CHARAC.
button is pressed.

÷ To input a symbol, press and hold the SHIFT
button while press the desired numeric/symbol
button.

c : To change a title

Operation procedure
1. Make the unit ready for character input.
With the standard remote:
Perform steps 1 to 5 of “Assigning Title”. Œ
With the keyboard remote:
Perform steps 1 to 4 of “Assigning Title”. „
2. Press the cursor left, right button to move the cursor
to the character to be changed.
3. Enter the title name using the character input buttons.
÷ No character can be changed if 20 characters have
already been input. In this case, delete unnecessary
characters then enter the desired correction
characters.
÷ If the title to be changed is too long to be displayed
on the display section, press the cursor left/right
button to scroll the display so that the characters
hidden until then appear.
÷ A title name can be registered using up to 20
characters.
÷ If you commit a mistake in the character button
input, press the DELETE button and restart the
input from the beginning.
÷ If a desired character is not provided on the remote
control buttons, input the character as follows.
Press the CHARAC. 4, ¢ (down/up) buttons
or rotating the DISC knob on the main unit until
the desired character is displayed in the flashing
cursor position. Then, press the SET button.
