Setup
The HDMI setup is required to use the component connected to
the HDMI terminal or to use the HDMI control functions.
If you do not use the HDMI connection, disable the HDMI
input setup. (See <HDMI input setup –"HDMI Input"–>.)

The HDMI inputs can be enable or disabled individually. Enabling
an HDMI input makes it possible to set the HDMI function and
use the HDMI control functions.
1 Select "HDMI Input".
[SETUP]
[MULTI CONTROL 2/3]
[ENTER]
2 Select an HDMI input source (DVD or VIDEO2) and
its HDMI audio and video inputs.
Use [MULTI CONTROL 2/3] to select the input source
(DVD or VIDEO2).
Use [MULTI CONTROL /5] to set the HDMI audio and
video inputs.

Setting
"DVD A/V"
"VIDEO2 A/V"
Enables the HDMI inputs for both audio and video.
Usually select this setting.
"DVD Video"
"VIDEO2 Video"
Enables HDMI input only for video.
The audio input becomes the digital (optical or
coaxial) or analog audio input.
"DVD Off"
"VIDEO2 Off"
The video input becomes the analog video input
(VIDEO, S-VIDEO or COMPONENT VIDEO terminal)
and the audio input becomes the digital (optical
or coaxial) or analog audio input.

The HDMI control functions can be set.
1 Enter the HDMI Setup mode.
[SETUP]
Use [MULTI CONTROL 2/3] to select "HDMI Setup".

2 Select an item to set.

Display Setting
"Audio Out" Sets the HDMI audio output destination.
"Audio Delay"
Adjusts the deviation in time between
the output audio and video.
"HDMI Link"
Sets whether or not the HDMI control
functions are used.
"Power CTRL"*

Interlocks power ON-OFF of components
by means of HDMI control.
"TV CTRL"*

Allows the TV to control this unit
including the volume levels from the
speakers.
"Return" Returns to Setup Menu.
