Switching the video resolution
Operation available only on the remote control unit.
Press to select the resolution of the HDMI video output as a result
of conversion of an analog video signal.
RESOLUTION
1 Press [RESOLUTION] to select the resolution.
Each press switches the setting as follows.
Display Setting
"RES Auto"
The resolution is set automatically according to
the connected TV monitor.
"RES 1080p" 1920 x 1080p
"RES 720p" 1280 x 720p
"RES 1080i" 1920 x 1080i
"RES 480p/576p" 720 x 480p, 720 x 576p
The available resolution values vary depending on the connected
TV monitor.
Checking the HDMI audio input
signal which output from the
connected component
Operation available only on the remote control unit.
The type and number of channels of the audio signal input at the
HDMI input can be checked.
DISPLAY
1 Press [DISPLAY].
The type and number of channels of the HDMI input signal
are displayed for a few seconds.
Example: Display with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel
input
There are some video contents which have more audio signals
recoreded than the input channel indicator on this unit are
shown. This is because at the recording studio the audio
sometime is produced with a different speaker configuration
from the standard speaker configuration.
In this case, the input channel indicator only shows the channels
which are the same as the standard speaker configuration, and
display shows the total number of channels recored in the video
contents.
Example: Total number of channels is 7.1ch and the input channel
indicator is showing 5.1ch

Even in the case above, the optimum playback is perfomed
according to the speaker setup (speaker re-mapping function).
