Deleting a Title
If you choose to delete a title from the Title List menu,
the title is actually deleted from the disc.
1. Use b / B / v / V to choose a title you want to
delete on the Title List menu then press ENTER.
The menu options appears on the left side of the
screen.
2. Select [Delete] option from the options on the
menu. Delete options appears.
3. Select an option then press ENTER.
The title(s) is deleted.
After pressing ENTER, the new, updated menu is
displayed.
[Erase selected title(s)] Deletes the selected title
only.
[Erase all titles] Deletes all titles on the disc.
[Cancel] Returns to previous menu.
4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 to continue to delete from the
menu.
5. Press STOP to exit the menu.
Notes:
The deleted title’s name is changed to [EMPTY].
If more than two titles are repeatedly deleted, the
titles are combined into one.
When you are deleting a title, only the last one on
DVD+RW increases remaining recording time.
Naming a Title
You can name titles independently. Names can be up
to 32 characters long but it displays up to 15
characters long on the Title List.
1. Choose the title you want to name on the Title List
menu, then press ENTER.
The menu options appears on the left side of the
menu.
2. Use v/V to select [Rename] option then press
ENTER.
Keyboard menu appears.
3. Enter a name for the title. Use b / B / v / V to
select a character then press ENTER to confirm
your selection.
Tip:
Remote control buttons for entering a name
SKIP (. / >): Changes keyboard type
SCAN (m): Deletes the previous character at
the cursor position.
b / B: Moves cursor to left or right.
Numbers (0-9): Inputs Digit at the cursor
position.
4. Choose [OK] then press ENTER to fix the name
and return to the previous menu screen.
Choose [Cancel] then press ENTER to return to
the previous menu screen without saving.
Choose [Reset] then press ENTER to delete all
characters.
Notes:
For discs formatted on a different recorder, you will
see only a limited character set.
The entered name is displayed on the DVD player
only after finalization or making compatible.
