If you already know your PBS channel number,
skip ahead to step 7.
If you do not know the channel number of your
PBS station, press STOP/V to select AUTO
CLOCK CH SEARCH, then press F.FWD/I_.

The TV/VCR will scan all your available TV channels.
Those that carry a time signal will be listed at the top
of the screen. Use one of these channels when you
enter your AUTO CLOCK CH at step 7. It will take
the TV/VCR several minutes to scan the channels. An
_" appears in the lower left corner of the screen
when the search is complete.

Press MENU to remove the menu.
Press MENU. Press PLAY/A or STOP/V to
select SETTING CLOCK, then press F.FWD/iI_.
Press PLAY/A or STOP/V to select AUTO
CLOCK CH. Then press F.FWD/iI_ or REW/_I
until the channel number of your PBS station
appears.

Press MENU to remove the menu.
Press POWER to turn off the TV/VCR.
The TV/VCR will search for the time only when the
power is off. Leave it off for several minutes to give
the TV/VCR time to set the clock.
Helpful Hints
If the TV/VCR sets the time incor-
rectly, it may have taken the time
from a PBS station in a different
time zone. Follow the steps for
Manual Clock Setting on pages
14-15.
If no channel numbers appear
during the channel search at step
4, there are no stations in your
area that contain the time signal.
Use Manual Clock Setting on
pages 14-15.
To stop the channel search during
step 4, press the MENUbutton.
