You can select the picture quality from
three different modes.
Each time
DDF
C
is pressed, the mode
changes in the order below.
Note
Selecting the mode 540P reduces screen flickering when using a video game
machine.
If the input signal is 480P, 1080I Auto mode cannot be accessed.
Selecting AV Mode
You can select the picture setting which displays the video in the most desirable way.

Each time
AV MODE
is pressed, the mode changes in the following order.
DYNAMIC: an actively forceful image definition mode
SOFT: a soft and gentle image definition mode
STD: a standard image definition mode suited for everybody as well as for
many types of VCR tapes and DVD discs.
DYNAMIC/STD/SOFT
A common value is set for all input signals.
USER
A different value is set for each of the TVs terminals, INPUT 1-5.
(When switching to a different input, a specific value is set.)
The VIDEO ADJ. or PRO ADJ. settings can be memorized in each AV mode (see
pages 25 - 26 for Video Adjust.)

without flickering.

movies on DVD without
