When installing one primary disk
(1) When power is supplied to ELX16-240, “Disk Manager” runs automatically after rebooting. If not,
run it manually in “MenuàUtilityàDisk Manager”.
(2) There is a HDD that is indicated as “[F] IntA”. Select it.
(3) Press the “Apply ” button after selecting action as “Add”. Then [F] is changed to [*].
(4) Press the “Apply ” button after selecting action as “Format ” and setting the size of alarm partition.
Then [*] is changed to [R].
Note
Alarm partition can be set from 10% to 90% within the size of primary disk.
(5) Press the [EXIT] button to shut down “Disk Manager”. (If recording schedule is set, ELX16-240 will
start recording.)
