Numerics
1080i 1080 alternating interlaced lines is the
most common HD standard with the
greatest line count, and available on al-
most all HD-ready and HDTV sets.
480i 480 interlaced lines is the setting for
most standard TVs. Not all HDTVs display
480i.
480p Many HD and SDTVs can display 480
progressive scan lines.
720p 720 progressive scan lines on a TV
screen.
A
action menu: Provides different action
choices or commands. It appears in the
Moxi Menu when a user decision is re-
quired.
album: A collection of photographs in Pho-
tos.
C
card: Cards appear in a vertical list within cat-
egories in the Moxi Menu.
center focus: Any category or card that you
stop on while navigating the Moxi menu
options. Often, the focus card has an as-
sociate action menu.
E
episode limit: The maximum number of ep-
isodes for the selected program that the
DVR will record.
eSATA: External serial advance technology at-
tachment provides a serial bus standard
for connecting devices. On the DVR it is
used to connect such devices as external
hard disks.

favorites: The category in the Moxi Menu
that contains a list of the fifteen channels
most frequently watched.

HDCP: High-Bandwidth Digital Content Pro-
tection is a cryptographic method to con-
trol video delivery. Content is protected in
such a way that only entitled devices can
view it.
HDID: Hardware Device ID is a unique identi-
fier that each device can access internally.
This identifier allows Digeo servers to
identify individual devices.
HDMI: High Definition Multimedia Interface is
an uncompressed audio and video inter-
face. HDMI supports standard, enhanced,
and HD video. It also supports digital au-
dio.
