Guide vocal
Press the GUIDE VOCAL button.
If the disc provides only Guide vocal 1(or 2) , switching is
between ON and OFF.
Some discs have Guide vocal 1 and Guide vocal 2 recorded
on them. The selected vocal changes each time you press
the button as follows.

Pressing the GUIDE VOCAL button has no effect if the disc you are
playing does not have a guide vocal recorded on it (it must a multi-
plex disc). With this kind of disc, do not press the GUIDE VOCAL
button.
With vocals 1 and 2 in 1, Guide vocal 1 is output through the left
channel, and Guide vocal 2 is output through the right channel. With
the mixed vocals in 4, output of Guide vocals 1 and 2 is monaural.
You can practice karaoke with or without a guide vocal.

Press the GUIDE VOCAL button.
When Guide Vocal is ON, "G-VO" appears in the display.
Switch it OFF, and "G-VO" disappears from the display.
You can adjust GUIDE VOCAL volume level with the 2 , 3
button. With CD and Video CD multiplex discs, you can ad-
just vocal volume level. If you cannot adjust GUIDE VOCAL
volume level, press the GUIDE VOCAL button once more.
After you have adjusted volume level, it doesn't change until you
switch power to the player OFF. To change the volume level, press
the GUIDE VOCAL button, switch GUIDE VOCAL OFF once, switch
it ON again, and then adjust the volume level.
