To a TV with video input
Precautions when connecting the player
This player’s Analog copy protect technology is copy guarded. If you connect the player
to a TV via a VCR, or record and playback the contents of a disc with a VCR, the play-
back picture may not be normal.
Connect the DVD player either directly to the television or through an A/V amplifier.
Before making or changing the connections, switch off the power switch and disconnect
the power cord from the AC outlet.
Select one of the following ways to connect the player to your TV.

¶ Connect plugs to the terminals that match the plug’s
color (white, red, yellow).
¶ Connect the TV with S-VIDEO terminal to the S
VIDEO OUT terminal of this player.
For stereo TV with
S-VIDEO input

¶ Please also refer to the manual for the TV (monitor TV or VCR) that you are making connection to.

Finally, connect
to a home
wall outlet.
Note
Cables can be found at your local audio/video dealer.
If your TV has a video input, and it is
available for use, this is the easiest way
to hook up the player.
