Connecting a Digital TV Set-Top Box
Connecting to DVI (Digital Visual Interface)
By inputting a high-bandwidth Digital Content Protection high-definition picture source to the
HDMI/DVI IN jack on the TV, high-definition pictures can be displayed on the screen in their
digital form.
• Please be sure to match the color coded input terminals and cable jacks.
INSTALLATION
• The HDMI/DVI IN jack is not compatible with the picture signal of a personal computer.
• Use a DVI 25-pin cable (commercially available) in order to digitally connect the TV with a
DTV decoder.

Connect a set of audio cables between the “DVI IN
(L, R)” jacks on the TV and the AUDIO OUT jacks on
the DTV set-top box.

Connect a HDMI/DVI cable between the
“HDMI/DVI IN” jack on the TV and the DVI OUT
jack on the DTV set-top Box.
The “HDMI/DVI IN” supports the DTV input only
(640x480p, 720x480p, 1280x720p, 1920x1080i).

Connect an HDMI cable between the “HDMI/DVI
IN” jack on the TV and the HDMI OUT jack on the
DTV set-top box.
