Discs that cannot be dubbed on
DVD-RAMs

You cannot record TV programmes or contents
on connected equipment directly to a disc.
You cannot mix VR mode and Video mode on
the same DVD-RW. To change the disc’s
format, reformat the disc (page 81). Note that the
disc’s contents will be erased after reformatting.
It is recommended that you use discs with “For
Video” printed on their packaging.
In some cases, you may not be able to dub titles
on discs that contain titles dubbed on other DVD
equipment. If you do dub a new title, note that
this recorder will rewrite the DVD menu of
DVD+RWs.
You may not be able to edit or dub on some
recordable discs, depending on the disc.
Do not insert any discs that cannot be dubbed or
played on this recorder. This may cause the
recorder to malfunction.
