Labeling Channels
• This feature allows you to enter a 4 letter channel identifier of your choice that will
appear over the channel number display. The label can be anything you want
(for example the station call letters).
• The label you set will appear when you turn the TV on, select a channel, or press the RECALL
button.
To program channel labels
Press MENU, then press or until
the SET UP menu appears.
Example: To assign “ABCD” to channel 4.
Press (or ) until “CH LABEL” is
highlighted.
Press or to display the CH LABEL
menu.
“SET/CLEAR” will be highlighted.
Press or to select “Set.”
Press until “CH INPUT” is highlighted,
and select the channel you want to label
with the Channel Number buttons.
Press until “LABEL” is highlighted.
