CABLE TV (CATV) CONNECTION
•A75ohmcoaxialcableconnectorisbuiltintothesetforeasyhookup.Whenconnectingthe75ohm
coaxialcabletotheset,screwthe75ohmcabletotheCOAXIALCABLECONNECTOR.
•SomecableTVcompaniesoffer“premiumpaychannels”.Sincethesignalsofthesepremiumpaychannels
arescrambled,acableTVconverter/descramblerisgenerallyprovidedtothesubscriberbythecableTV
company.Thisconverter/descramblerisnecessaryfornormalviewingofthescrambledchannels.(Set
yourTVonchannel3or4.Typicallyoneofthesechannelsisused.Ifchannelisunknown,consultyour
cableTVcompany.)FormorespecicinstructionsoninstallingcableTV,consultyourcableTVcompany.
Onepossiblemethodofutilizingtheconverter/descramblerprovidedbyyourcableTVcompanyis
explainedbelow.
