OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ESP 19
1. Read andfollowsafety precautionsand all responsibilities sectionssetforth inthe operators manual
2. Make surethelift ison a firm andlevelsurface andthat there are nopotential hazards such asoverhead
obstructionsor electricallycharged conductors, usethe lift where suchhazardsexist.
3. Check theliftfor damagedor worn parts andrepairor replaceas necessary.
4. Check tobesure thatthe cage is properlyattachedto thelift.
5. Turnmaster power switch toon.
6. Check tobesure allsafety devices are functioningproperly.
7. To operatelift fromthe groundturn and hold lowercontrolswitch to"lower control" setting thenselect
eitherup ordown function.
8. To operatelift fromthe platform,turn lower control switchto"upper control"setting.
9. Make surebatterycharger cordis disconnected from outlet,placedback intoits box and lidis closed and
latched. LIFT WILL NOTOPERATEIF LID IS NOT CLOSED SECURELY.
10. Enter platformandbe certainthat the entry gateisclosed completely. LIFT WILL NOT OPERATE IF
ENTRYGATE IS NOT CLOSED COMPLETELY.

theother islocated to the leftof thejoystick).
Presseither theraise or lower button.

Pressthesteeringthumbswitchonthetopofthejoystickinthedirectionyouwishthelifttoturn(either

Thejoystick andsteering thumb switch maybe operated simultaneously forsmoothmaneuvering.
attemptto operatethe drive function andthe raise/lower function atthesame time.
Thislift isequipped with a levelsensor that will preventthelift fromraising or driving withplatformelevated
whileon anunlevel surface. If thelift fails to raiseordrive whileelevated, lower platform immediately.
