Wi-Fi Calling
This feature allows you to make calls using a Wi-Fi over the
T-Mobile network.
Note:
Minutes used while connected to the Wi-Fi network count against
available rate plan minutes. Contact a Customer Service
representative for details.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Wi-Fi Calling
.
2. Touch
Wi-Fi Settings
to turn on Wi-Fi and connect.
3. Touch
Wi-Fi
to turn it on. A checkmark displays to indicate
activation.
4. Ensure that the
Wi-Fi connected
icon displays on the
status bar.
The network names and security settings (Open network or
Secured with WEP) of detected Wi-Fi networks display in
the Wi-Fi networks section.
5. Touch the network in which to connect.
Note:
When you select an open network you are automatically connected.
6. Enter a wireless password (if necessary).
7. Touch and drag the slider to the right to activate Wi-Fi
Calling.
Your device connects to the T-Mobile Network.
Wi-Fi Connected
Wi-Fi is connected, active, and
communicating with a Wireless Access Point
(WAP).
Wi-Fi Communication Issue
Wi-Fi is active and there is a communication
issue with the target Wireless Access Point
(WAP).
