5.6.7 DISK SETUP
Enter the disk mode to select your desired setting.
1. DISK FULL:
This option determines the way to utilize storage media in case of a full disk.
REWRITE: When the hard-disk is full, the device continues recording by displacing the old
data.
STOP: When the hard-disk is full, the device will stop recording.
2. DAYS TO KEEP DATA IN HDD:
You have the option of using DAYS ( any number between 07 and 99 DAYS ) or NO ERASE.
3. HDD1 REFORMAT:
This option allows you to clear out all the data in the HDD1. You will be required to enter the
pre-set password before proceeding with clearing out the data. Enter the standard password
“9999”.
4. HDD2 REFORMAT:
This option allows you to clear out all the data in the HDD2. You will be required to enter the
pre-set password before proceeding with clearing out the data. Enter the standard password
“9999”.
5. HDD3 (REMOVABLE) REFORMAT (FOR REMOVABLE HDD MODEL ONLY):
This option allows you to clear out all the data in the HDD3. You will be required to enter the
pre-set password before proceeding with clearing out the data. Enter the standard password
“9999”.
6. SD CARD REFORMAT:
This option allows you to clear out all the data in the SD card. You will be required to re - check
your selection before proceeding with clearing out the data, and set and enter the SD CARD
FORMAT MENU to activate (YES) or, alternatively, deactivate (NO).
7. CD REFORMAT (FOR CD-ROM MODEL ONLY):
This item helps you erase your CD disc if it’s rewritable.
8. HDD3 (REMOVABLE) USAGE: (FOR REMOVABLE HDD MODEL ONLY)
There are two options here for the removable and mobile HD, "REC" ( record ) and "BACKUP HD".
This option determines the way to utilize the hard-disk drive in the mobile compartment.
BACKUP HD: Used for data backup only, which will not be part of regular recording in a
hard-disk drive.
REC: Used for the regular recording hard-disk drive.
