Set up the television

Avoidplacingthetelevisionindirectsunlight
ordirectarticiallight,suchasaspotlight,as
thismayreducethesensitivityoftheremote
controlreceiver.Alsoifthescreenisover-
heated,blackspotsmayappearinthepicture.
Thesespotsdisappearagain,oncethetele-
visioncoolsdowntonormaltemperature.
Toavoidinjury,useBang&Olufsenapproved
standsorwallbracketsonly.
Makesurethatthetelevisionissetup,placed
andconnectedinaccordancewiththese
instructions.
Thetelevisionisdevelopedforindoorusein
dry,domesticenvironmentsonly.Usewithin
atemperaturerangeof10–40°C(50–105°F).
Donotplaceanyitemsontopofthetele-
vision.
Donotattempttoopenthetelevision.Leave
suchoperationstoqualiedservicepersonnel.
Thetelevisionwasdesignedtobeleftinstandby
modewhennotinuse.Therefore,tofacilitate
remotecontroloperation,itisessentialthat
youdonotdisconnectitfromthemains.The
televisioncanonlybeswitchedoffcompletely,
ifyoudisconnectitfromthemains.
Place the television on a firm and stable surface.

vision, for example to facilitate viewing at a low

If you are going to place the television on either the
floor stand or the wall bracket, the two standard
‘feet’ must be removed from the tele vision. Follow
the instructions in the Guide enclosed with these
optional accessories.
