10.ERROR DISPLAYS
If an error occurs, one of the following displays is displayed.
Take the measures described below to eliminate the problem.
If an error display other than the ones described above appears, press the reset button. If the problem
persists, turn off the power and consult Clarion dealer.
Error Display Cause Measure
DVD (CD/MP3/WMA)
ERROR 2
A DISC is caught inside the DVD deck
and is not ejected.
This is a failure of DVD deck’s
mechanism and consult Clarion dealer.
ERROR 3
A DISC cannot be played due to
scratches, etc.
Replace with a non-scratched disc.
ERROR 6
A DISC is loaded upside-down inside
the DVD deck and cannot play.
Eject the disc then reload it properly.
ERROR P Parental level error Set the correct Parental level.
ERROR R
Region code error Eject the disc and replace correct
region code disc.
DRM
Playback stops because WMA files
protected by DRM are played.
Perform the operation such as skipping
a file.
NOT SPRT
Playback stops because MP3/WMA
bit rate is out of range which this unit
supports.
CD changer
ERROR 2
A DISC inside the CD changer is not
loaded properly.
This is a failure of CD changer’s
mechanism and consult Clarion dealer.
ERROR 3
A DISC inside the CD changer cannot
be played due to scratches, etc.
Replace with a non-scratched disc.
ERROR 6
A DISC inside the CD changer cannot
be played because it is loaded
upside-down.
Eject the disc then reload it properly.
