3 Press the arrow buttons or the MENU + or – buttons to select the CHANNEL
STATUS option.
4 Press the arrow buttons or the ADJ + or – buttons to change the CHANNEL
STATUS setting to FAV.
5 To watch your favorite channel, press the FAV.CH button on the remote
control.
Locking channels
If you do not want a channel to be accessible, you can set the channel lock
for that channel. When you tune to a locked channel, you are prompted to
enter your password.
To lock a channel using the remote control:
1 Press the CH UP or DOWN button to select the channel you want to lock.
2 Press the CH LOCK button on the remote control.
3 When prompted, enter your password. If you have not set a password, enter
0000. For more information about setting a password, see “Setting a
password” on page 55. The channel is locked, and you cannot view the
channel unless you enter the password.
4 If you want to unlock the channel, press the CH LOCK button again, then
enter the password.
