Using the V-Chip (Parental Guide)
The V-Chip (Parental Guide) feature prevents viewers from watching programs
that are not age-appropriate, such as programs containing violence or adult
language.
To set the V-Chip:
1 Press the V-Chip button on remote control to access the Parental Guide
setting.
2 When prompted, enter your password. If you have not set a password, enter
0000. For more information about setting a password, see “Setting a
password” on page 55.
3 Press the MENU/ADJ arrow buttons on the remote control to select ON.
4 Press the SET button on the remote control to go to the next menu.
