Stopping a Timer Recording
To Stop or Cancel a Timer Recording in Progress (even an Express Recording):
Press and hold the STOP button for several seconds until STOP appears on screen and/or on
the VCR front panel.

Press CLEAR to erase

Reviewing and Clearing Programs
To Review Programs:
1. With the VCR MAIN MENU displayed, press 2 to choose TIMER
RECORDINGS.
2. Press 2 to display the Review Existing Progs. screen.
3. Press CLEAR to erase, or MENU to see the next program.
Recording Broadcast Stereo TV or SAP
(Second Audio Program)
Some TV programs are broadcast with stereo audio or SAP (Second Audio
Program).
To Capture Broadcast Stereo or SAP Audio:
1. Turn on the TV and tune it to the VCR viewing channel (either 03, 04, or
Video Line Input).
2. Insert a tape with its safety tab in place.
3. If your VCR viewing channel is 3 or 4, make sure the VCR indicator appears
in the VCR’s display panel. If not, press the TV•VCR button on the remote
control to turn it on.
4. If desired, press the SPEED button on the remote control to override the
Preferred Tape Speed setting. The tape speed indicator appears on the
TV screen (either SP or SLP).
5. Select the channel or Video Line Input to be recorded.
6. Press RECORD to start recording.
7. Press STOP when finished.
