If you have a cable converter, you will probably want to program your VCR's remote control so
you can easily change channels. The process is the same as for programming the remote to
operate your TV.
PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL OF THE CABLE CONVERTER
1 Program the remote control
Hold down the CATV button and press the number of your brand of cable box (shown in the
chart).
NOTE: If that button combination does not work, or if your brand is not on the chart, just go
through all the button combinations until you find the one that works best.

Press the CATV button and then the button of the function you want.
For example;
Press the CATV button and the CH (:_), and the cable converter station will change to the
next higher station.
NOTE: Also, you may change the channels at the cable converter by using the number
buttons. If you can not change the channels at the cable converter by using the number
buttons, press the ENTER button after you press the number buttons. It may change channels
at the cable converter.

Press the VCR button to operate your VCR with the remote again.
