Deleting program information
When you want to delete the stored information for each
recorded program, follow the procedure below by using
the Remote.
• Program information for the Video Navigation function
is deleted, but the recorded program will not be
erased.
1 Follow steps 1 to 4 on page 48, then go to
the following steps.
2 Select program
Press %fi to move the
highlight bar (arrow) to the
program you want to
delete, then press
CANCEL.
3 Delete program information
Press %fi to move the highlight bar (arrow) to
“YES”, then press OK or
#
.
● If you stop deleting tape information, move the
highlight bar (arrow) to “NO”, then press OK or
#
.
4 Return to normal screen
Press MENU.

Checking memory
You can check the amount of recorded information in
the VCR’s memory.
1 Access Main Menu screen
Press MENU.
2 Access Video Navigation screen
Press %fi to move the
highlight bar (arrow) to
“VIDEO NAVIGATION”,
then press OK or
#
.
3 Check memory
On the front panel:
Press CH 5∞ to move the highlight bar (arrow) to
“CHECK MEMORY”, then press OK.
On the Remote:
Press %fi to move the highlight bar (arrow) to
“CHECK MEMORY”, then press OK or
#
.
The Check Memory screen appears.
When the scale bar reaches “100” on the TV
screen, memory is full and “MEMORY FULL”
appears.
4 Return to normal screen
Press MENU.
If memory is full, you have to delete unwanted
information to store more information in the VCR’s
memory.
