Symptom
Remedy/Cause
Bluetooth
Phone sound quality is poor. Reduce the distance between the unit and the Bluetooth
cellular phone.
Move the car to place where you can get a better signal
reception.
The sound is interrupted or skipped
while using a Bluetooth audio player.
Reduce the distance between the unit and the Bluetooth audio
player.
Disconnect the device connected for Bluetooth phone.
Turn off, then turn on the unit.
(When the sound is not yet restored) connect the player again.
The connected audio player cannot
be controlled.
Check whether the connected audio player supports AVRCP
(Audio Video Remote Control Profile).
The unit does not response when you
tried to copy the phone book to the
unit.
You may have tried to copy the same entries (as stored) to the
unit.
“No Audio Device” appears on the
screen.
Connect this unit and the Bluetooth audio player correctly.
“No Voice Device” appears on the
screen.
The connected cellular phone does not have the voice recognition
system.
iPod/iPhone
The iPod/iPhone does not turn on or
does not work.
Check the connecting cable and its connection.
Update the firmware version.
Charge the battery of the iPod/iPhone.
Check whether “HEAD MODE” or “iPod MODE” is correctly
selected. (

Reset the iPod/iPhone.
Sound is distorted. Deactivate the equalizer either on this unit or the iPod/iPhone.
Playback stops. The headphones are disconnected during playback. Restart
playback.
“Cannot play this device Check the
device” appears on the screen.
No tracks are stored. Import tracks to the iPod/iPhone.
No operations are available when
playing back a track containing
Artwork.
Operate the unit after the Artwork is loaded. (

Check whether the connected iPod/iPhone is compatible with this
