intervals (“0” is the initial setting).
7 Speaker output levels
¶ For subwoofer—“SUBWFR”

¶ For left surround speaker—“SURR L”

You can adjust the speaker output levels for the activated
speakers.

Adjust the speaker output level within a range of –10 dB to
+10 dB in 1 step intervals (“0” is the initial setting).
7 DAP effect level
“EFFECT”
While one of the DAP modes is activated (the DSP indicator
lights up on the display), you can adjust the effect level.
For details about DAP modes, see pages 30 and 31.
Adjust the effect level within a range of 1 to 5 (“3” is the initial

7 Subwoofer audio position
“AUDIO POS (position)”
You may feel subwoofer is reinforced when listening stereo
sound.
In this case, you can automatically change the subwoofer
level properly when listening stereo sound.
• To adjust the subwoofer level, see the left column.
Select the automatic adjustment level from “0” to “–6” (in
2 step intervals).
If no adjustment is required, select “0” (initial setting). The
smaller the number becomes, the more the level decreases
automatically when listening in stereo.
• The A.POSITION indicator lights up when “AUDIO POS” is
set to other than “0.”
Note:

About auto memory
This unit memorizes the settings for each source:
• when you turn off the power (see page 12),
• when you change the source (see page 12),
• when you change the source name (see page 13), and
• when you change the analog/digital input mode (see
page 14).
When you change the source, the memorized settings for
the newly selected source are automatically recalled.
The following can be stored for each source:
• Analog/digital input mode (see page 14)
• Input attenuator mode (see page 15)
• Front speaker output balance (see page 28)
• Tone adjustment (see the left column)
• Speaker output level (see the left column)
• DAP effect level (see the left column)
• Surround mode selection (see page 32)
Note:
• If the source is FM or AM, you can assign a different setting for
each band.
