PROGRAMMING A MASTER POWER MACRO
Inits default state,the POWER key on theOne ForAll 4Device Universal
RemoteControlwill individuallypower yourhome entertainment devices
on or off.However,you can also program a
Master PowerMacro onto the
POWER key that will sequentially turn on oroff all the devices with asingle
key press.
Programming The Power Key For The Master Power Macro
1. Press and hold SET until theLED (red light)blinks twice,
then release SET.
2. Enter
9 - 9 -5.The LEDwill blinktwice.Then pressPOWER
once.
3. For the first device you want in thepower-on sequence,
press its devicekey (e.g.,
CBL/SAT) once.
4. Repeat step 3up to three more times to add desired
devicesto the power-onsequence (e.g.,
VCR/PVR,DVD,and
TV).
5. Tosave the settings andexitthe program,press andhold
SETuntil the LED blinks twice,then release SET.
Operating The Master Power Macro
1. After programming,point the remote control at the
devicesand press
POWER for at least2 seconds to sequen-
tiallyturn on (or off) your devices.
NOTE:WhenPOWERispressedforlessthan2 seconds,apowercom-
mandwillonlybesenttothecurrently-selecteddevice.Thisallows
youtostillindividuallypowerdevicesonoroff.
2. Devices will turn on (oroff) according to your
programmed sequence.
NOTE:Thecurrently-selecteddevicewillalwaysturnonoroff first,
followedbytheremainingprogrammedsequence.Afterthemaster
powersequencehasbeencompleted,theremotecontrolwillbesetto
controlthefirstpowered-ondevice.
NOTE:If oneormoredevicesdoesnothaveaPOWERkey,thepower
off/onsequencemaybeslightlydelayedwhentheremotecontrolsignals
thedevice(s).Thisactionisnormal.
