PROGRAMMING DEVICE CONTROL
TheOneForAll 4 DeviceUniversal Remote Control ispreprogrammedat
thefactory tooperatean RCA TV, aToshibaDVDplayer,a Motorolacable
box,andanRCAVCR.To controldevicesother thanthedefaultbrands,per-
formthe followingsteps;otherwiseskipthissection:
1. Turn on a desired device(e.g.,VCR or DVD player) and,if
applicable, insert media (e.g.,cassette or disc).
NOTE:Pleasereadsteps2 through4 completelybeforeproceeding.
Highlightorwritedownthecodesanddeviceyouwishtoprogram
beforestartingstep2.
2. Ontheremotecontrol,pressa devicekeyonce(i.e.,VCR/PVR,
DVD,CBL/SAT,orTV).
NOTE:Toprogramcontrolof aVCR,PVR(orDVR),TV/VCRCombo,
orTV/VCR/DVDPlayerCombopressVCR/PVRonce.Afterprogram-
mingaVCRCombodevice,youwill beabletocontrolchannelselec-
tion,volume,andVCRfunctions.
NOTE:Toprogramcontrolof aDVDPlayer,DVDPlayer/VCR
Combo,orTV/DVDPlayerCombo,pressDVDonce.Afterprogram-
minga DVDCombodevice,youwillbeabletocontrolchannelselec-
tion,volume,andDVDfunctions.
NOTE:Toprogramcontrolof aCableBox,CableBox/PVR(orDVR)
Combo,SatelliteReceiver,ora SatelliteReceiver/PVR(orDVR)
Combo,pressCBL/SATonce.
3. Press and hold SET until theLED (red light)blinks twice,
then release
SET.
4. Use the
Manufacturer’s Codes (starting onpage 18) to
locatethe type of device and brandname and thenenter
the first four-digitcodefor yourdevice.If performed cor-
rectly, the
LEDwill blink twice.
NOTE:If theLEDdidnotblinktwice,repeatsteps2through4andenter
thesamecodeagain.
5. Aim the remote control at the deviceand press POWER
once.The device should turn off.If it does not,repeat
steps 2through 5,trying each code for yourbrand until
you find one that works.If it stilldoesn’t work,try

6. Repeatsteps1through 5foreachdeviceyouwanttocon-
