SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE
If yourdevice doesnot respondto theremote controlafter tryingall codes
listed foryour brand,orif yourbrand is not listed atall,try searching for
yourcode.
NOTE:Beforeperforminga codesearchfora DVDplayeroraVCR,turnonthedeviceand
inserttherequiredmedia.
For example,to searchfor a code for your TV:
1. On theremote control,press
TV once.
2. Press and hold
SETuntil the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
3. Enter
9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blinktwice.
4. Aim the remote control at the TV andslowlyalternate
between pressing
POWER and TV.Stop when the TV turns
off (afterpressing POWER).If the devicedoes not have a
Power key,you can substitute another function,suchas
digits
0 ~ 9 ,CH,or PLAY).
NOTE:Inthesearchmode,theremotecontrolwillsendIRcodesfrom
itslibrarytotheselecteddevice,startingwiththemostpopularcode
first.
5. Tolockin thecode,press andreleaseSET.The LEDwill blink
twice.
6. Tosearchfor the codes of your otherdevices,repeat steps
1 through 5,but substitutethe appropriatedevice key for
the device youare searchingfor.
CHECKING THE CODES
If you have setup the remote control using the Searching ForYourCode pro-
cedure(as above),youmayneedto find out which four-digitcode is operat-
ing yourequipment.Forexample,tofindoutwhichcodeisoperatingyour
TV:
1. On theremote control,press
TV once.
2. Press and hold
SETuntil the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release
SET.
3. Enter
9 - 9 - 0.The LED will blinktwice.
4. Toview thecodefor the first digit,press
1 once.Wait 3
seconds,count the
LEDblinks (e.g.,three blinks =3) and
write down the number in the leftmost box in the TV
code boxes on page 8.
NOTE:If acodedigitis“0”,theLEDwillnotblink.
