The Face Detection function detects faces anywhere in the frame and
automatically chooses the optimal focus and exposure. It detects up to 15 faces
in a photo and automatically readjusts the settings if their positions change.

The Intelligent Scene Selector senses the ambient conditions and
automatically selects image settings like scenery, portrait, macro, night
portrait or night scenery accordingly, so you are assured of getting superb
results every time you shoot, no matter which scene or subject.

Intelligent exposure instantly analyses the framed image and adjusts the
brightness in areas that are too dark due to dim lighting, back lighting or the
use of fl ash. By adjusting the brightness of dark areas, this function produces
natural and realistic images.
NO MORE UNFOCUSED MOVING SUBJECTS
Once you focus on your subject, AF Tracking automatically tracks it until you
press the shutter. When you‘re taking pictures of an active subject, this function
eliminates the need to press the shutter button halfway down repeatedly to
readjust the focus.

Thanks to Intelligent ISO Control, the camera can determine whether a subject
is moving or not and changes the ISO sensitivity and shutter speed accordingly.
