POWER CABLES
1. Connect the VMX300(-E) workstation power cord to the workstation power input and then to an UPS.
NOTE: When connecting the workstation to a 230 VAC or higher power source, the use of an UPS, such as model PW9120 700i
(manufactured by Powerware) or equivalent, is required to comply with CE-marking requirements per EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.
2. Press the power button on the front panel of the workstation.
3. Once the workstation displays the Windows desktop, log on to Windows and then complete the following tasks to configure the
workstation’s operating system settings (refer to the VMX300(-E) Software Guide for detailed instructions):
a. Assign an IP address to the workstation.
b. Identify the VMX300(-E) workstation on the network.
c. Disable NetBIOS.
NOTE: Omit this step if your system includes a DX9000 Series DVR.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each VMX300(-E) workstation in your system.
