34 JPEG and MP3 Features
General Information on CD-R and CD-RWs
When you make CDs to play on this DVD Player, the Disc should have
at least 6-10 pictures or 2-3 MP3 music files. Make sure there is at least
3 MB (three megabytes) of information on the Disc.The maximum files
per folder is 500.
JPEG file names should end with the “.jpg” extension.
To select a JPEG or MP3 file for playback, press the Number buttons to
select an item, then press OK. Or, press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to select an item,
then press OK.
JPEG features
Press PREVIEW during Disc playback to access a Preview screen.This
screen shows up to nine miniature pictures; each picture represents a
JPEG image. Move to additional Preview screens by pressing Previous
4 or Next ¢.
While playback is stopped, you will see miniature images of the pictures.
A maximum of 12 images will appear. Press Previous
4 or Next
¢ to see the other pictures on the Disc.
Press ZOOM to enlarge a JPEG image. Press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to move
through the picture.
Press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to select SLIDE SHOW, then press OK.This will
play all the files, beginning with the first picture on the current page.
During JPEG playback, press 3, 4, 1, or 2 to flip or rotate the image.
Press ANGLE to choose different angles of the picture.
Repeat/Shuffle

While the menu is on the screen, press REPEAT to choose:
FOLDER - All files in the current folder will play once.
SINGLE - The selected file plays once, then play will stop.
REPEAT ONE - Keeps a JPEG image still on the screen or plays an MP3
file repeatedly.
REPEAT FOLDER - Plays all files in the selected folder repeatedly.
SHUFFLE - Plays all files in the selected folder in random order.
Program

While the menu is on the screen and play is stopped, press DISC
MENU so the PROGRAM screen appears. Available files show on the
left, while the Program list shows on the right.
2 Press 3 or 4 to choose a file to add to the Program, then press OK or
PLAY 2. (To remove an item from the Program, press 2 to go to the
PROGRAM list on the right; press 3 or 4 to select it, then press STOP
7.) The maximum number of files for a Program is 100.
3 To play the Program, press 2 to select any item in the Program, then
press OK to start playing the Program from that point.
Playing MP3 and JPEG files simultaneously
Setting your pictures to music

Start playing the MP3 file as described above.
2 Press TITLE.
3 Select a JPEG for playback as described above.
4 To stop simultaneous playback, press DISC MENU to stop JPEG
playback.Then press STOP 7 to stop MP3 playback.
Searching
1
Press 1 or 2 to fast reverse or fast forward a Track.
2 Press Previous 4 or Next ¢ to select other Tracks or files.This is
not available during SINGLE or REPEAT ONE modes (see
Repeat/Shuffle above).
