Selecting AUX as the source
% Press SOURCE to select AUX (AUX1 or
AUX2) as the source.
# If the auxiliary setting is not turned on, AUX
cannot be selected. For more details, see Switch-
ing the auxiliary setting on page 52.
Setting the AUX title
The title displayed for each AUX1 or AUX2
source can be changed.
1 After you have selected AUX as the
source, press FUNCTION and hold until
TITLE IN appears in the display.
2 Enter a title in the same way as the
built-in DVD player.
For details concerning operation, refer to En-
tering disc titles on page 37.
Switching between digital and
analog
When this unit is connected to the DEQ-
P6600, you can switch to the AUX mode to
analog or digital.
1 Press SOURCE to select AUX2 as the
source.
Press SOURCE until AUX2 appears in the dis-
play.
# If the auxiliary setting is not turned on, AUX2
cannot be selected. For more details, see Switch-
ing the auxiliary setting on page 52.
2 Press BAND to switch the modes.
Press BAND repeatedly to switch between the
following modes:
ANALOG (analog) DIGITAL (digital)
Note
When this unit is connected to the DEQ-P6600,
you can switch to the AUX mode to analog or di-
gital. However, when you use AUX2 as the
source, make sure the AUX mode is set toanalog.
AUX digital should not be used with this unit.
Using the PGM button
You can operate the preprogrammed functions
for each source by using BOOKMARK.
% Press BOOKMARK to turn pause on
when selecting the following sources:
! DVD Built-in DVD player
! S-DVD DVD player/multi-DVD player
! IPOD iPod
! USB USB portable audio player/USB
memory
! MULTI CD Multi-CD player
# To turn pause off, press BOOKMARK again.
% Press BOOKMARK and hold to turn
BSM on when selecting TUNER as the
source.
Press BOOKMARK and hold until the BSM
turns on.
# To cancel the storage process, press
BOOKMARK again.
% Press BOOKMARK and hold to turn
BSSM on when selecting TELEVISION as the
source.
Press BOOKMARK and hold until the BSSM
turns on.
# To cancel the storage process, press
BOOKMARK again.
Sound muting
Sound from this unit is muted automatically in
the following cases:
! When a call is made or received using a
cellular telephone connected to this unit.
! When the voice guidance is output from a
Pioneer navigation unit connected to this
unit.
The sound is turned off, MUTE is displayed
and no audio adjustments, except volume con-
trol, are possible. Operation returns to normal
when the phone connection or the voice gui-
dance is ended.
